    Well after just picking up a LNIB 17-55 2.8:bigthumb:. I went through my pics and checked to see how often I used anything over ~55mm. Time to sell my 50 1.4D & 18-200 VR Nikkor to pay for my new acquisition. Gonna keep my 10-20 Sigma.

    How does one price these? They're both used but very lightly. Zero marks on either of the lenses and both have had filters on them since they were out of the box. Prices seem all over the place on the used market though.

    I need to hear more about your new lens. I am on the fents about it. I have the money but keep hearing that the build quality isnt great. but I think it is mostly the L glass sackriders who say this

    I sold my 50 1.4 for 260 the same day i listed it... so, maybe 275 - 280 if you're posting on CL?

    I fucking love the 17-55 2.8..... LOVE.... It's bigger than I would have expected, but the build quality is perfectly fine i thought.

    Ya I picked it up for $800 cash. So very happy with my choice. And it's basically new. Heavy & a tank but:wackit:
