Well, we FINALLY got our G8!!!11111one :nikko:

Here's a couple quick shots of it while it's on the dyno.

The peak numbers with 123 miles on her on my Mustang MD 1750 dyno are:

Bone Stock 279 RWHP 295 RWTQ

Quick Tune leaning it out a little 288 RWHP 307 RWTQ

Same Tune & a CAI we made 300 RWHP 316 RWTQ

All runs started at 190 degree ECT.

LOTS more tuning left to do, so I'm sure there's more left in her :big grin:

Nevermind the orange and blue silicone, that's all we had at the shop. When we have everything finished it'll be done in black...

Cool ride! I had not seen the tail end of that car till now, I really like the circle brake lights. What are your plans for it? Debadging it would definately be a good mod.

Thanks guys, we have some big plans for this thing. We are either going to fab up a Procharger F1 kit or possibly even a twin turbo kit. We have new rods/pistons etc... in the works, and are hoping to get it in the 9's in the 1/4 yet still be a capable daily driver...

We weren't on that one :(

We are leaning towards these in 18x8 & 18x9

We don't want any bigger because of tire selection (no 19+ Drag Radials available yet).

 ride man, but don't you want to critique the car itself before modding it immediately?

    :dunno:

It's an awesome car, rides great, handles well, it's quiet, everything they say about it being comparable to a BMW is quite true. That's all the critiquing we care about, now it's time to triple the HP :big grin:

Found one 35 miles from me. Hopefully they aren't like the one 50 miles from me that wants 100+ for 3 runs :squint:

We charge $95 for up to 3 pulls, or $150/hr and you do all the tuning you want. If you want us to do the tuning it it's $250/hr.

Mississippi is pretty far from California :hsd:

Plus, my on throttle setup is good, only tuning I need to do is I'm running a tiny bit lean at idle (only noticeable when it's hot in the engine bay). I just want to get some whp/wtq numbers.

Looks like I won't be knowing my whp for a good while longer. Everyone in the valley it seems wants 100+ for just a couple of runs :wtc:

That's about the norm for pricing these days. Especially when you considering the cost of the equipment.

I have a friend that's been wanting one of these forever, but no dealership around here can get them. He's pissed, has cash for the sale, but no place to spend it! lol
