It has "Tactical" in the name therefore gives 25 operator points. It also has a dovetail bonus with any LaRue Tactical (note the "Tactical" in the brand name) gear for a 1.25x multiplier effect.
Almost everything they make is pretty solid and they only employ cute women.
You're probably OK with buyin one.
should be good to go.i know they make the kickass .22 mags for 10/22s
actualy, thats tactical innovations,so i dunno know
It's a .22 upper ... I don't see how you can go wrong.
If you're concerned, just get a basic M4 upper and throw the CMMG conversion in it like several of us have done. Will cost a little more with both bolts/carriers, but you'll also have another 'real' AR as well.
Or go my route and build a dedicated upper with other AR parts... find a cheap stripped upper, find a barrel after someone upgrades, throw the CMMG conversion in there .... AR22 upper for cheap
Prob is finding a barrel made for 22lr
That's how I did it
yeah I'm not aware of any 1:16 twist AR15 barrels.
I guess 1:12 would be pretty close...
CMMG build > Tac Sol > Spikes > slingshot w/ rocks > 14 pounds of runny dog shit > ciener
I think the Tac Sol is better because it can shoot Aguila SSS.
What's wrong with the ciener?
the guy is a dick but that's really all
CMMG, Spikes, Ciener and Atichisson are really all very similar
in other news, I saw a Spikes kit at a gun show for TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY DOLLARS and I was like 'where's the Black Dog mag that goes with it' 'no mag included' and he had a few BDM mags for sale, such bullshit
ive gone through about 1k .22 with my ciener without a single hiccup
even blew through rounds in an auto ar pistol
Recent gunshow I went to had CMMG kits. Brand new in the tube, but without magazine ... $240. I already have mine, but was keeping an eye out for a buddy that wants one. Screw that, I told him to order from Palmetto. They are putting together packages with the new CMMG mags instead of the BDM mags so it costs even less.
They all look to be the same design (except for Spikes having o-rings on theirs) so no one is saying the Ciener kit itself sucks. It's that people say Ciener customer service sucks and he sucks.
just get the CMMG kit i piced mine up for $145
