my current process is reducing fat/gaining muscle mass. not trying to cut or bulk, pretty much getting shaped up.
im 200lb -+, 5'7" and currently take 2 servings of ON whey with milk. i would like to know what other supplements can i take to achieve my goal? (look better, gain muscle, reduce fat)

ive heard fish oil but not too clear what that does. whats something i can take before the workout?

You're either reducing fat or gaining mass, not doing both at the same time. So which is it?

    Must Haves:
    Protein
    Creatine
    Fish Oil
    Multivitamin
Post Workout Stuff(more so if bulking)

Everything else is questionable at the very least as far as results go.

green tea extract isnt questionable, there are 100's of studies on the stuff going back probably a decade. it should be as ubiquitous as fish oil.

Unless you're on anabolics/hgh/igf I don't think so.More likely you had shed bf around certain parts and now see muscle clearer.

i dont want to turn this thread into a flamefest like every other thread on this fucking forum. From personal experience, if you've never stuck to a serious lifting program before, you can cut and gain muscle mass concurrently, especially if you are overweight. I'm not talking huge gains, but you will put on muscle mass.

just pick one. It will make your life easier and speed up this whole process. People that beleive gaining muscle and dropping fat is possible are the ones that basically never make any progress. Bulk for a year, cut for a couple months. Process keeps on going and going until you are satisfied.

no doubt. i think the problem is that half the people here started as skinny fucks and had to eat and bulk hardcore to start seeing any progress. I'm just saying that if you're a fat fuck who's never lifted a weight before, its possible to do both at first

It's definitely possible for complete noobs or the obese. Other than that its determined by your diet.

i got a belly and dont even 'drink' lol

steveO, you said to choose one, for my situtation, would the green tea or the fish oil benefit me more? or do they both do the same or something?

no, I meant choose one as in cutting or bulking. Green tea is only going to aid a good diet, take fish oil pills for health purposes whether cutting or bulking

So you want to lose weight (fat) and gain weight (muscle) at the same time and remain at the same weight. Like the two cancel each other out or something?

I'm afraid it doesn't exactly work like that.
