Really started to see improvements but then I hurt my knee so that's really out of the question now.

Anything else I can do to keep cutting the fat? I really enjoyed doing HIIT. Maybe do it on an elliptical machine? Swimming? Will I get the same results? I really enjoyed having the at home or around satisfaction of running.

A bunch of old people ride those bikes around here and they just get in the way. I've always wanted to try one though. Expensive?

I was thinking elliptical machine or stationary bike. How Do you get any stupid looks at the gym when doing HIIT?

    Oh.

Would I get equal results while using the stationary recumbent bike as opposed to sprinting?

The important part is burning calories, not really the method (within reason). A bike will be fine, don't sweat the details. :)
