Everyone post up their personal site with photo galleries, etc.

Everyone else can then give them feedback on what they like and do not like about the website.

    I'll start http://www.jcerone.com

    go easy on me.. :wtc:

/edit my site was made solely for display purposes of large amounts of photos and a method of communication. I am by no means pro I just like to have an expensive point and shoot.

Firefox 3.0, Flash 9.0.124.0, Windows Vista Business

Flash doesn't load past 100%. *Works now, did you change something? **Back to not working ***Back to working, must be me.
    Flash window scrolls both ways.
Splash pages and recommended browser specs are kind of old school.

    [edit]
Now that I can see it:

The typeface and color of your name should be the same every time someone sees it, so the splash page should match the flash. It helps create your brand.

Everything else is solid though. :bigthumb:

I can't change those requirements. It's embedded in the templet.

That's fine, but informing them that they need 1024 or better is pointless. Someone at 800x600 or 640x480 isn't going to know how or want to change it because they're using a freaking altair, so they're coping with your site as-is either way but now there's more words on your site.

Done entirely in that iWeb program that comes on Macs. Just in case it's obvious as I have zero HTML knowledge.

on your splash/home page too much empty space at the top makes me have to scroll to see the bottom line of text.

the it guy/web developer part of me hates when a site pops up another window and/or resizes my window. :o i have all my windows exactly where and sized how i want and don't like that to be fucked with. if possible, i would do away with the splash page and just load the flash right off the bat, anyone that isn't running in at least 1024 is used to scrolling to see whole sites and shouldn't need the warning.

i would resize your photos before putting them on the site. the photo on the bjj page is huge and goes way over the template. :o

try to shorten your page length :o i scrolled down just to see a bunch of empty space.

and if i had a photography site, i would post it, but i don't yet. :o maybe someday soon i'll start one.

If you make any money at all from photography, you should hire someone. Regular people trying to make websites is like regular people trying to use a P&S to shoot their wedding.
