    was planning on making a thread like this myself. ill be shooting with my shitty canon 75-300 with shitty tripod so well see. i might be able to use my schools telescope at the observatory but dont know.

    Im going to try, it might be cloudy tonight though. 40% chance of rain. oh, and I dont have a tripod yet. :o

    I'll be shooting with a 18-200, thats all I got. :dunno:

    No idea how close I'll be able to get, I've never shot the moon before. It'll be fun though.

    I've taken meh shots of the moon hand held, you wont get any depth to the sky though.

    longest lens I've got is a 200 :(

    maybe I can tape all my lenses together to make a teleconverter
