Sorry only able to tell time by EXIF data.
I don't really feel the need to buy expensive status symbols that function exactly the same (minus lots of other features) as my cellphone.
No Mickey Mouse no care
$10 at walmart suits my need for a second hand just fine.
i'm rocking a gshock
i'm rocking... something that stays on my wrist when i need it to.
here's a couple shots i had in my photobucket .... i've always loved watches and since they started getting way too expensive and i wanted to slow down it gave me the chance to get into photography. these are one's ive owned or do own .... i'll keep most of the panerais out since most of you guys will just think it's the same watch
That's quite the collection!
No No care.
39... 39 expensive watches. What the fuck do you need 39 expensive watches for? I can understand 1 or 2 for a formal occasion or extreme conditions, etc... but 39?
I was always jealous of the kids that had these when i was little
there's not 39 .... i think the most i had at any given time was 10. i still have about 7 right now though i just always end up trading up.
it's kind of like lenses though, what's the point in buying 2 or 3 primes, say 24L 35L 50L when a 24-105 can cover all that. why buy an L glass when you can buy non L for much cheaper, like a 28-135 instead of a 24-105? ranges are similar, hell the 28-135 has more reach
over all build quality, feel, QC ....
yeah i always thought watches were such a waste of money
Image quality is the only factor in that decision. buying 15 rolexes vs 1 timex is quite another. both tell time, perfectly accurately.
Edit* i'm sorry guys. sometimes i'm just too fucking pragmatic for my own good. i'mma broke motherfucker that's long since gotten into the habit of spending my money on a very utilitarian basis. It's your green, and if you can afford 15 $1,000 watches, go right ahead and do so. If i were to hit the lottery tomorrow, i'd soon after have a garage full of cars i don't need. It's not my place to give you shit over what you buy.
There is more than just a shallow vanity aspect to it.
Some people just love finely crafted objects/machined devices and don't care if no one else sees them.
.... they're all fairly low key other than the gold ones, i wore a rolex for a bit and after a couple comments i sold it
Sweet collection, I love the Panerais. I'll own a Luminor someday, but right now I can't justify the expense with $150k in student loans (soon to get another $150k from my fiancee when we get married) and trying to save for a house.
