I'm looking for the best and cheapest (probably not the same) route to add HDTV signal to my new samsung DLP. I just want to watch local broadcasting in HD.

I'd like to have a DVR built in, but it's not necessary. What do YOU run?

I've got free cable now, so I don't think it's worth it to add 70 to my monthly bills. Considering I'll only have like 5-7 HD channels, it's really not worth it.

If it was all HD, that's a different story

True, it would be nice to have a little HD. Although, I'm blown away at how nice basic cable looks on this set. DVD's are just as impressive. So, I can't wait to see 1080i

is that going to take an HD DVD player with special DVDs? or were you talking about porn from digital cable (pay per view)?

I must say, I'm quite interested now
