When I was trying to get some old games working on XP it froze quite a bit, but that's my fault. On it's own I'd say it's been atleast six months.

So other then me doing it trying to get some games that hate XP working it's been about the same as you. :wiggle:

I used to reinstall XP every couple months because I would get clogged up with viruses/spyware/etc. But last time I reformatted in early Jan. I decided to put on two diff. copies of XP one for regular use like music, games, etc. And the other OS is used solely for looking at porn or if for some obscure reason I ever need to fix system files and can't logon my main OS or whatever.
My main OS has been running amazingly smooth for months, no virus problems, no spyware problems, no extra processes and what not plus from my main OS's point of view it looks like I never look at porn. :bigthumb:
My "Windows XP Pron" is clogged up with all kinds of crap and runs very sluggishly, but who cares?
So it's been months since I've froze.

You need to learn how to get porn safely without the spyware and viruses. :hsugh:

But I was like that before and formatted once every other month or so. It's been about 1 year since I last did it though and the only thing that's been stopping me from doing it is the lack of a spare HD to throw my stuff on. That and I want to give WinXP 64 a try.

My laptop has an uptime of 47 days currently, I don't recall the last time I had a kernel panic.

The current machine has had 3 BSoDs in 3 years. The first was when I unplugged a USB card reader. The second and third happened with in a week of eachother. I updated the video driver and it never happened again. That was at least a year ago. I have XP Pro on an Intel mobo and run 24/7.

My work machine gave me a BSOD today at work when I was working with an almost dead laptop drive in an external case trying to recover data from it, before that, never since I got the machine in september.
