I have a brand new, sealed copy of Vista Full Retail lying around...what should I do with it?
Well if you have a computer that can handle Vista, then go ahead and install it. It's not an evil force, it's just an OS.
Depending on if you have a good computer, and again depending on what version you have... I would install it.
If it's Home Premium or Ultimate, and you have a Core2Duo and 2GB+ of memory and a hardware accelerated card supporting Aero, then keep it.
Yeah, a full version of Vista is worth a good bit of money, and since you'll probably have to buy a copy eventually, hold onto it unless you're sure you have no interest. In that case, sell it.
Vista Ultimate, both x86 and x64 versions.
I'd install it if you have a decent machine.
I just built a dual core/2 gig ram machine the other week and put Vista Ultimate on it and it runs great.
So answer the other question... what machine do you have?
Custom built machine,
2 x 150GB WD Raptor
Well that could handle Vista, if you're brave enough to try it.
keep the vista.
