OT, What am I doing wrong?

    Please help me out as much as you can, any advice is great help.

    I am 5'6" tall. 28 Years old. About 6 months ago, I was 160lbs and when I had my blood tested, my cholestrol was at 250. This gave me a rude awakening.

    I got a personal trainer and started doing cardio boot camp, also changed my diet to a low-carb diet ( cutting out starch, sugar, rice, etc. ). Started taking my multi-vitamins daily and fish-oil pills (1000)

    I now weigh 134 lbs and my cholestrol is at 150.

    However, i have beginning to lose muscle fat now even though the lower region of my belly is still there and i am trying to lose that fat without compromising the rest of the body. I am starting to see my ribs on the upper region of my belly (which I guess is not a good sign? )

    I do weights every other day and only do cardio (threadmill or row machine) once or twice a week.

    I try to eat a good breakfast everyday but with a 1.5 hour commute to and from work, I hardly have any time in the morning to cook for brkfst so I just take a whey-protein shake and a toast on the go.

    What can I do to help gain the right muscle withouth gaining weight?

    give me a few examples of clean, high protein diet? I am under the impression that eating so much will just gain back fat?

    this is truth. indian ftl. but i am trying to fix that to the best of my knowledge.

    I am not trying to get big but just more lean and cut.

    at first I was thinking PB was just being himself.. but now I agree..

    what's that butter like oily solid that they put in all the dishes?

    your 134 lbs, there is no leaning and cutting unless you want to look like an Ethiopian. your going to have to put some weight on.

    serious though you need to go cover to cover on all the stickies in this forum and then post back. There are a lot of answers to questions you will ask already in there, or at least you can come back here with better questions

    yeah an oz. of that is 255 cals/28.5g fat

    yes fat doesn't make you fat etc. etc. but when adding it to all your dishes, it probably makes a difference..

    btw, I looooove nan..

    prob.. they use ghee like an oil to grease up the pans.. IIRC

    they prolly use it to oil it up, if not ghee, then butter. either, white flower + ghee, can not be healthy for you in any way.
