i got a set of adjustable coilover springs for my birthday. i don't want to keep any of the factory vw crap, so what else do i need?

my own knowledge suggests shocks, but different shops are saying something about struts. do i need both? i'm just not totally sure, as i've never played with suspension on any of my past cars, only the engine/drivetrain.

    anyone?

    Along with what CuriousGeorge said...

    What kind are they?
Some kits come with snubbers and dust boots..

pics?? Sounds like you will be investing some cash in a set of matching shocks/struts before you can use those springs.:dunno:

I would contact tom motorsports and get the shocks/struts that exactly match those springs. Otherwise, you could end up with a really crappy ride :)

But that set looks damn nice! Congrats!
