L0cke, if you're dead set on one of those two, I'd probably get the Kenwoods. But otherwise, i'd probably look into something else.

:hsugh: why kenwoods? I've you heard them in action? I have heard both of the Kenwood and Audiobahn. Frankly, the Kenwoods are not bad at all, but the Audiobahn are just a better punch.

Yes, I've heard those Kenwoods. They sounded just fine to me. I personally dislike Audiobahn so I'm sure that has something to do with it.

However, if you looked closer at my post, I don't think either subwoofer is a particularly good value, and IMO you can do much better than either.

I would certainly never base my opinion on a speaker based soley on listening to it once, as enclosure size and type, and the car it's installed in will change the sound dramatically.

Do not touch audiobahn... simple as that. I don't think highly of kenwood, either, but its the lesser of two evils.

Those are just two subs I was looking at, I am not sure what are good subs to get. I am looking in the $150 price range for "12inch subs.

Also, what is a good 4 gauge amp kit to get?

I went with a Stinger kit myself, worked out very well, and no problems so far. Very afforadable too.
