    Mostly the newer models, 00-03 X and J types, and a few older ones. 96 XJS I think it was, with an I6. Piece of shit :o

    :werd:....new or old, i've seen too many problems from them....and the 6 is horribly underpowered for that big of a car...

    Yeah, an I6 in a what, 5000lb car? :ugh: And the cost of maintenance is astronomical. I'd never buy a Jag.

    even the XK-8s and XKRs weigh nearly 4000lbs...silliness...

    it's a good call...they look beautiful...but they're not worth the headaches usually...

    1999+ they are just a reliable as BMW, Mercedes. JD Power ratings back this up.

    My mom had a 2002 XJR, only thing it ever went into the shop for was routine maintenance.

    I agree. Within the last 5 years Jag has really improved in all aspects. Don't knock the new XJ. It's become one of the best full-size luxury cars out there.

    The new XJ's are sweet... very plush, extremely solid feeling, and a smooth torquey V8. One would make an awesome long distance driver.

    The previous generation XJ's are also quite a bit smaller inside than the new ones.
