My $250 brother B/W Laser (HL-5250DN) just died after 1.5yr of service. I just bought a $90 toner for it too =(

Needless to say it's out of warranty, and repair costs more than a new unit. Their tech support is horrible, reminds me of Sony's out sourced support.

    No Brother/Lexmark Printers.

Must have a good warranty (3+ years)
If this isn't possible I'll just hold my breath for one that has it.

Must not cost over $300. Just a B/W Laser printer, nothing to fancy.

    Anything out there?

I recommend the HP LaserJet P2015n. Its a network printer, so you can hook it up to your router and share it if you'd like. We run the hell out of these things at work.

$190 after a $100 mail in rebate from Newegg.

Samsung ML-4500 Is what I'm using.

Really cheap and toner last long time. Has drivers for both XP and Vista ( including 64 bit ).

Been using it for few years and it still going good.

I've been using a Samsung ML-1610 (I think that's the model) for YEARS now. I probably go through two toner cartridges a year, they're not cheap, but then again no laser toner cartridge is. However, for spitting out thousands of pages without so much as a single failure or glitch I am beyond impressed.

Hell the only reason I haven't gotten a faster printer is because I just want to see how long this badboy can last.
