    Hey all, just a quick question, im trying make a logo from a photo i took, however when i cut everything else out of the picture, the symbol still has some pixely edgese and looks jagged and not smooth? anyways does anyone know how to smooth/sharpen out the edges?

    you are going to have to post the picture and explain what you are trying to do, but basically you are going to get those edges unless you feather the selection before you cut it out, but it really depends on the picture you are using

    notice how the simex's logo is very jagged, id hope to be able to smooth that out thanks again

    If i were you i would do 1 of 2 things.

    open it up in illustrator and create a vector file out of it using paths (preferable) or open it wil photoshop and use the pen tool to create paths and recreate it at the desired resoltuion.
