hey guys, i bought a olympus stylus 300 3.2 mp for work. I am a rep for epson. and quite frankly this thing just isn't good enought for the photos i wanna print. basically i take pictures and print them out on most of the printers i have. Most of the prints are 8x10 or letter. i was wondering if any of you guys would be able to help me out with better resolution pictures. I only need a few for my new R800(best quality photo printer on the market).

I had a customer bring in a 6mp image to print on it. i plugged it in and the quality was unlike anything i have ever seen(8x10 size). Unfortunately sombody stole my printout.

Find something that's 4.0 megapixels or better. Although, I only had a 2.0 megapixel Fuji before that printed out decent 8 x 10's.

Just make sure all your setting are set right on the camera, for the highest resolution.

i know how to use the camera, at the highest resolution it saves in 2mb files. And when it prints out it looks pretty good. But most of my printers are capable of printing much higher resolution.

the printer is a 1.5picoliter printer with a 5760x1440 resolution. it's very easy to tell that it's a 3mp image when it's printed

so are you asking for recommendations on a new camera or are you asking for a way to up the resolution on your camera?

I think he's asking people to send him pics so he can print them out to show people the print quality.

Probably the best thing to do would be to subscribe to a stock photography site. Asking people to give you their good work is kinda like asking for us to work for you for free.

If you would like i can send you some stuff, but im going to water mark it.
    Let me know.
