Cooler Master Centurion 5 Case - $31 (ebay, refurbished)

Cheap HD, Keyboard, Mouse - $62
(Keeping what I have, rebuying cheap stuff to put in old CPU for uncle)

GRAND TOTAL (with shipping) = $1,260

What do you guys think? I was looking to spend $1200-$1300 and I hit it dead on =)

Down the road I'd like to add another gig of ram, but 1GB should be fine for now.

Your CD-ROM doesn't appear to be a combo that reads DVDs.
Less than $20 more will get you a good DVD burner.

Yeah, for bout $5 I can add just a dvd reader... really don't have a use for a burner right now, but figured I might want to get at least a reader incase everyone decides to switch to dvd only format for games anytime soon.

that's a nice box sutable for all current and most upcoming games. Upgradeable to a faster processor if you ever have the urge. The DVD burner is a no brainer... just get it.
