I thought we should start a list of worthwhile video games involving our favorite activities :x:

theres plenty of them out there, currently I enjoy Counter Strike souce even though they made the weapons all backwards WTF brass flying towards me :ugh:

the other is Hidden & Dangerous 2 with Sabre Squadron expansion, this one is big in europe, weapons are very decent models of the real thing, lots of gameplay options, good multiplayer. everybody should get this and we can have OT meets online, occupation, deathmatch, CO-op, objectives etc. it rocks

others I play on occasion are Far Cry, other half life2 related games and stuff on the consoles like time splitters 1 and 2, goldeneye 64, perfect dark etc.

c'mon guys, give me something new to buy :o

America's Army is pretty fun. Especially the SF mod servers, where we get to use the Sopmod M4's. :wiggle:

    America's Army: pretty good weapons
    Battlefield 2: fairly good
Medal of Honor: Arcadish but fun.
Global Ops: probably the best game made for ballistics, penetration and modeling. Too bad the net code sucked for all but the best servers. EA bought it out and that ended any future patches or upgrades.

I used to love the old CS and DoD until other games came along that switched from that crappy hitbox detection to actual pixel collision.

Well spending a couple hundred bucks on a new console every 3-4 years > spending $250 every year for new graphics card, $400 for new CPU every 2 years. Leaves me with more money for guns. I prefer FPS's on console anyway. Strategy type games I prefer on PC, and simulators are better on PC but I've not seen any good ones in years :hs:

If you avoid buying cheapo stuff at first then you wouldn't need to do upgrades that often.
I have an amd 2000+ that I built 3 years ago and I just recently upgraded the video card to play BF2. For the cost of what alot of morons paid for a new Xbox 360 last month I could have bought all the components to build a brand new machine.
My next upgrade for me will probably be the CPU which will set me back all of 100 bucks but it won't be needed for at least another year.

I loved that game but when I upgraded my graphics card like 3 years ago it quit working. I'd really like to have a new PC and had the intentions of having me cousin help build on this summer but never did.

It's honestly not that bad, doesnt frustrate me as much as Halo 2, but the PC version is without a doubt better.

Damn, I used to love that game. I gave it up when I started to play FFXI and since I've quit that I'm gonna have to start ET again.

I used to own with the K98 as covert ops. I loved being the guy who would blow the gates for a sneak win on the fuel dump map.
