OT: Im 6'2 and weigh 160lbs and im more serious now than ever that i want to gain...

    as much weight as possible while working out!!!!

    What do you suggest to me for someone who can pretty much eat anything and not loose or gain a pound? i just bought a case of protien shakes that i will start drinking two a day and im starting at the gym as soon as i leave work today.

    please help, any suggestions are priceless to me :wtc:

    you must track ur cals and eat eat eat

    set a goal for an amount of calories per day.. mines around 3500 but its not working to well because i rarely meet it :wtc:

    by that I hope you mean

    polyunsaturated and
    monounsaturated fats.

    Really if you want to gain muscle instead of fat you have to EAT, but eat clean; and crank up the intensity in the gym.

    PROTIEN!
    up your complex carbs(oats, whole grains, beans) and fiber
    lean meats (trimmed round beef, chicken breast, turkey breast, fish)
    Lots of fruits and veggies
    Almonds walnuts and peanuts
    EGGS EGGS EGGS

    stay away from anything that has "partionally hydrogenated oils" in the ingrediants label(thats basically margerine/trans fats). Since it is like hooking an IV to your veins and pumping fat directly to your gut.

    such as what? I know some things are not as good as others, anyone know what the bst food is that will have the best results from eating a lot of?

    If you're "eating everything in sight" and not gaining weight...you're not eating enough.

    If I was bulking my daily food consumption could feed a family of 4 for weeks. As it is I barely consume any food, yay cutting.

    If you take in 4000 calories a day I promise you will gain weight!

    Bagle/Biscuit or something
    Sandwich with lots of meat for lunch
    Chicken/Steak/Beef something for dinner
    Lots of snacks in between, preferably something high in protein
    And then I have a shake that totals about 1200 calories and 90g protein after the gym

    Probably about 3500 calories a day. They key is too just eat constantly, and eat things high in protein.

    I'll be back in a bit, I have to go eat. :o

    You're overthinking it. It doesn't matter what you eat, or when you eat. Eat a full pizza before bed, eat a loaf of bread, drink a gallon of milk for breakfast. Pizza pockets, pop tarts, tuna, steak, hamburgers, don't think about WHAT to eat, just shove it down your throat.

    haha, whats funny is even though the newbs think you are talking shit, they probably won't even make that mistake again and they will become smarter because of you.

    exactly...you should be eating so much the the math required to actually count your calories makes your head hurt

    In addition to my "real" food intake, I used to drink 3 Nlarge2 shakes per day mixed with peanut butter, oats, and milk. The shakes made it so much easier to hit my calorie goals.

    Absolutely. Half a banana, peanut butter, milk, oats, ovaltine and protein powder is where it's at.
