these are some pics that I took today. I have lost 15 pounds since the beginning of January and I want to lose more, plus add some bulk to my arms/chest. I would also like to work on my abs, so when my chunkiness is gone, I will be able to show more than a flat tummy. I'm more worried about working on my abs and losing weight than adding bulk, so I will just list my cardio/fat-burning and ab workout regimen.

    My regimen right now:

Monday - Elliptical 40 minutes, 5x20 sit-up (10lb. med. ball), 5x20 crunches (10lb. med. ball), 100 bicycle (right elbow to left knee, vice versa), 6x20 side crunches

    Tuesday - Elliptical 40 minutes, 5x20 sit-up (10lb. med. ball)

Wednesday - Elliptical 40 minutes, 5x20 crunches (10lb. med. ball), 100 bicycle, 6x20 side crunches

    Thursday - Elliptical 40 minutes, 5x20 sit-up (10lb. med. ball), 100 bicycle

    Friday - Elliptical 40 minutes, 5x20 crunches (10lb. med. ball), 6x20 side crunches, 5x20 sit-up (10 lb. med. ball)

Saturday and Sunday I play pick-up games of soccer or other strenuous activies.

    As for food:
I eat tuna, turkey sandwiches w/lettuce and green peppers (light mayo) on wheat bread, PB&J sandwiches on wheat, veggies (peppers, celery, brocolli, carrots, cauliflower), fruit (oranges and apples), fat-free yogurt, and fat-free tapioca pudding. Sometimes I reward myself with some fat-free, sugar-free frozen yogurt.
I drink atleast 10 cups of water each day and a 16oz. Nalgene bottle of Gatorade. A cup of green tea and a cup of orange juice in the morning.

Any tips on workout and food would be much appreciated. I live in the dorms at a small, private college and do not have a lot of money, so please take that into account.

    Problem #2: Read the stickies

Don't reply to this, just read the stickies.

I asked about losing weight and help with ab workouts. I do not want to become broly, therefore I do not want to lift a ton, unless it will help me lose weight and work on my abs. If the lifting you can recommend will help in those two areas, I am all ears.

thanks. I ask for your help and you call me a dumbass:rolleyes:

I lift for about an hour every day, I did not know that I needed to lift more. I thought doing 40 minutes of cardio, ab exercises, and lifting for an hour would be enough.
I'm not exercise-smart, so I do not know all the ways to lose weight. sorry

you wouldn't want to accidentally lift too much and become broly; that would suck. it's good that you're on top of things.

no, it's not because you asked for help but the way you responded...

basically, your routine probably sucks.....post it up and let the experts take a look at it....

also, to lose weight the secret is calories in < calories out

lol. i love when people post topics and say how they 'dont want to get broly' or something i saw the other day 'become a 220 pound musclehead' :uh: shit takes hard work. the people who get ripped and strong had to work hard to get where they are.

read the stickies dude...they explain everything you need to know to lose the fat which is all over your body , not just your love handles.

my bad. Maybe my routine sucks because I lift using the machines at my college gym. The football players are usually using the weights during the times I can make it to the gym, so I guess I just use the machines because I can't use anything else to lift.
My cardio is averaging around 700 calories, and I usually only eat around 2,200 calories per day.

Here is my lifting regimen for every day:
    Bicep lift [email protected]
    Tricep lift [email protected]
    Shoulder lift [email protected]
    Chest press [email protected]
    Lat Pulldown [email protected]
and Pec Dec (I think) [email protected]

thanks. I just don't want to get larger muscles on my arms than I really need. I usually post in Off-topic, and they refer to brollies as anyone with muscles, so that's what I thought. My bad for the disrespect
