i just started working out 3 weeks ago and just recently started using the elliptical for cardio instead of the treadmill and bike. i busted nuts on the elliptical 2 days in a row, 20 minutes before and after each workout and here it is 2 days later and my calves are hurting, my left worse than my right.

i skipped today but i want to get back at it tomorrow. :hs:

Pre workout stretch, drink more water, expect soreness while working out, take about a 2 day stretch each week off to rest and heal up.

Sore muscles happen, rest up and you'll be fine.

Don't try to blow your O ring out your first few weeks, start slow and steady.

that too. Get a steady supply of protein supplement and creatine going in you, and that'll help quite a bit.
