being a noob i have been reading the stickies etc and about everything else i have time to read......but my question to you guys is......how can i be sure what i am reading is worth it and going to help...

for example i have been using the intermediate linear progression routine here

    http://www.geocities.com/elitemadcow1/table_of_contents_thread.htm

and reading the informations provided......its not hard to pick up....i have googled a few names etc from these pages and the guys are known strength coaches....so should i be believing this stuff or not??

The 5x5 and modified versions are some of the most popular routines out there

    F&N seems to approve

If it works in the gym, go with it, nearly anything will help you progress as long as you keep adding weight. Just ask questions if you have specifics.

Beginners needs to build a muscular base, and WSB4SB is a good combination of moving heavier weights and higher rep accessory movements
