I want the Magpul CTR stock but it does not come with all the buffer tube items.
    http://www.mountsplus.com/miva/merchant.mvc?page=MSP/PROD/Magpul_Stock/MAG-310-BLK

I have a DPMS 16in AR-15 with the fixed stock.

Now can I use the buffer tube from the fixed stock for the Magpul?

If not what type of buffer tube do I need I what website sells them.

I'm an idiot with this buffer tube thing. I'm new to AR's. :hs:

I believe you're going to need a carbine receiver extension, carbine buffer spring, and carbine buffer. You should already have the castle nut and receiver end plate from your A1/A2.

    Oh and:

    http://www.magpul.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=70_73_94&products_id=263

    Or ...

    http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Stock-Hardware-Mounting-Kit-Mil-Spec-p/stock%20hardware%20kit.htm

That way you could reuse the A1/A2 stock and parts on your next build (You will build more than one. It is inevitable. ;))

Are there different lengths I have to worry about or is it all the same? Know where I can order a set?

I might just go with this one because of of that is included I believe.

From the standpoint of looks, I find that CAA stock hideous. I've never used one so can't comment on function. See my edit above.

Thank you very much. I might go with that bravo package since it was all in one. :wavey:

Ya the CAA stock is kind ugly but it holds 4 batteries, has a rail on the side that can hold an extra mag... etc. and you can attach a one point sling to it... so there is some functionality with the ugliness :hs:

Oops. Just looked at the parts I linked to. Both sites will get you the same parts. Bravo Company is just cheaper.
