It's a Blue 03 Wagon, 5-speed, mechanically 100% stock and always has been, not including my new brakes. It just crossed 70,000 miles (its at like 70,500 now).

Has all of the factory options: turbo gauge, compass mirror, all weather trunk mat, etc. 50% tread left on tires, definitely good for another 20k miles.

About 3,000 miles ago, I replaced the entire stock brake system (fucking piece of shit subaru rotors warped a ridiculous amount). I put on Brembo rotors (stock size), Hawk HPS+ Pads, Goodridge Stainless Steel lines. Pedal feel is awesome. (EDIT: I have all receipts for this. Parts + installation were about $800)

The car is in overall decent condition, Subaru's have shitty paint so there are small chips on the front end, and also a 7" long mark on the passenger side door from the car apparently being keyed at some point in time :madfawk:

All major services done at Subaru dealerships, car has been on Mobil 1 synthetic since the day I bought it.

Also, complete stereo upgrade was done. Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP head unit, RIDICULOUS front speakers (A/D/S components, forget which model), 4 channel Alpine amp, 12" Alpine Type-R sub. Also, hardwired in a Sirius Satellite radio receiver.

So car crew, what do you think its worth? Could I pull $11k for this?

    huh huh huh huh

no seriously. I am teetering on whether or not to buy a new car. I'm really done w/ paying for premium gas and getting low gas mileage. I'm considering a Honda Fit, or maybe a Honda Accord.

11 is reasonable. I bet it would sell right away for 9.8K

You could most likely get 11 easily, depending on the actual body condition. Wanna sell me your sub? lol

    $9.8k is too low.

It would have to sell for pretty close to $11k for me to find it worthwhile to sell it at this time.

NASIOC would be a better place to ask this question. Or go onto autotrader and craigslist and see what people are asking

But as someone who is interested in buying an STi in the near future and has been researching subaru's relentlessly for the past 2 months:

$11k is doable. Ask 12, Expect to get lowballed. $10k will be the minimum you should even consider for it.

I've been ready to buy, then against buying, on and off for the last few months now.

I kind of made the decision to keep my car for a long time a few weeks ago.

However, I don't even drive to work anymore, I park at the subway station and take the train to work now. Fucking jackass thief busted the drivers side window and grabbed my GPS last week. It's time for me to just buy a low-profile economy car, since all i am going to be doing is leaving it in a parking lot more of the time.

Well, once the wifey and I work out the finances, I may have a WRX for sale in the coming month or two.

Basically, I think I can probably get a new Honda Fit on the road for $16k, and I don't want to drop more than an additional $5k out of pocket for a new car right now....thus how I arrived at wanting to sell my car for $11k.

I think I'll probably list it at $12,000 or even $12,500, just to let someone lowball me down to about $11k.

I mean, my stereo alone is worth $1k or so.

Thats one thing I'm going to miss :wtc:

Fucking LOVED driving this car in the snow. I used to intentionally find reasons to go out to drive around in the snow. So fun being able to drive up a steep hill where people get stuck and just glide off to the curb.

Oh, I know. I can remove the entire stereo and put everything back to stock if the person wants me to do that though, and I could drop the price a couple hundred.
