EXIF info in the file.. but...

    # Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 25/10 second = 2.50000 second
    # Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 5/1 = F5.00
    # Exposure Program = manual control (1)
    # ISO Speed Ratings = 800
    # Focal Length = 21/1 mm = 21.00 mm

    300D w/ 18-55 kit lense.

Other than the crappy background, the ugly house color, any of you got any tips for shooting bikes in teh dark?

BTW, I had no tripod :coolugh: I lost my tripod mount.. Used a chair and a bucket :eek4:

looks sharp enough for not using a tripod.

I think if they were centered up on the driveway a bit more and you put them on the left third of the fram instead of the right, the compositon would have been better.

Also, a shallower DOF just to throw the hous a bit out of focus would have helped reduce the background distraction.

Finally a bit of bouce/reflector on the right to add some fill. A large sheet of white foamcore would have worked. WB seems a bit borked too.

Yeah you should of seen the lighting last night, it was terrible, we were under some big bright yellow light, the house being doodoo yellow didnt help either..

I shot in RAW and PP in CS2.. Here's how the RAW file looked, just resized..

I'd bring down the color temperature. I think the picture would look "cooler" (both literally and figuratively) at a lower color temperature.

Here's another version I just made.. Shooting in RAW is nice, just got to really get the hang of the post-processing that needs to be done sometimes.

definitely better. Try a little shadow/highlight adjustment to bring out the shadow area of the lead bike a bit.

faces look a bit too bright overall in the last attempt. gf/whoever looks like she could have been photoshopped in.
