pm me. i'm considering moving there.
What about used to?
that works. you've got PM
You realize while it is amazing it is extremely expensive, right?
Nothing beats NYC
Yeah I know
and everywhere is one big suburb... well besides living in sf
Yeah, SF is almost less of a suburb than NYC itself
yes I was at the fat cow last friday. I had dinner tonight on battery and embarcadero @ fog city tonight.
Indeed. I lived there for a while. Awesome area but the cost of living is just crazy. Even a crappy small apartment is 1500 or more.
unless you dont mind living 3-4 people in an apt
i live in the bay area and in southern california
You earn 6 figures? I wouldn't otherwise.
Don't move to the bay area, too many guys. Its called "Man Jose" for a reason. SF is koo
I live there, but I have no external reference point.
I would if I could afford it.
My cousin lives there, but I've never been. She's always telling me how much I'd love it though.
It's a fun town to ride your bike. Mashhhhin on the hills.
Unless you've actually ridden it, it's a pain in the ass. Especially on a fixed gear.
Hills are fun and all, but to deal with them every day (or have to go the longer route and avoid them)...fuck that.
Anytime I get a chance to hill ride with my fixie I do, then again I do live in Florida.. :/
Apples to oranges, apples to oranges
recommend other good safe places in california. palo alto? sunnyvale? any affordable places in socal?
not affordable, but its got the safe part covered: Irvine
my mother in law lives in SF, she loves it, i love it.
what exactly are you looking for other than safe and affordable? a quiet town? a bustling city? lots of outdoor activities? good weather?
Falconer, why California? I'm just curious where this came from.
I'm from SoCal and would be living there again in a heartbeat if I could actually afford it without not wanting to kill myself every month. So with you being unemployed....I would suggest not moving there unless you move there with a job.
