i remember on my windows machine, all i had to do was dl and install the 'klite codec pack' and then had no problems with trying to watch any type of video file. wish i could say the same for my powerbook that i recently purchased. i'm unable to watch move video files b/c 'quicktime doesn't have the support' or something like that. whats the fix to this? any help would be appreciated. thanx

couple places you can check out...

about as close as you'll come to pc codecs.

Mplayer...current reviews have been "iffy" at best. I still use it quite a bit.

VLC- Video Lan Client...seems to be getting better, I just happen to prefer Mplayer.

With those items, you should be able to play just about anything you used to be able to on your PC. GL :wiggle:
