Last night it took me 15 seconds to install GD2 on Ubuntu.

It took six hours and a large pile of work to get GD2 to install on OS X.

Fink and MacPorts are inadequate, and FOSS lib support of OS X blows.

    That is all.

VMWare Fusion p0wn3z Parallels. I made the switch to it after using Parallels for months. It's soooo much faster. Parallels can only make use of 1 processor, VMWare can use both. Parallels only allows the guest OS to use up to 1.5GB of RAM, VMWare allows up to 8GB.

    IBfanboys.

Peyomp calls it like it is, and he does a lot of Mac advocacy in the Computers and Programming subforum (which is a losing battle).

Thats great, unless you're solving a problem where XCode and Cocoa have no place. Which is most problems.
