There should be ample real estate on the 24 incher.. No room for duals either.

I always wonder where people get their "quotes" from. 8800 is an old video card, blah blah blah. :wtc:

Mac Pro will run LR and CS3 better too...:fawk:

I've had nothing but good experiences with dell.. maybe it helps that I have a corporate account..

I actually did think about building it myself.. but it actually came out to nearly the same price configured on newegg for the exact components and i wouldnt have any warranty..

I've also found Dells to be very solid. When I can't build my own or a family member needs a new computer I always go with Dell.

Dual 2.8GHz Xeons, 6GB of RAM, 320GB HD. Whatever the base video card is, with dual DVI outputs.

I have CS3, and while I love it, I rarely use it considering LR is what I use the most. :dunno:

You did not just pay for white plastic and apple logo...YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO GET a nice system from inside out.

Mac users are such pathetic losers. They love windows vista, they love intel, but they don't buy PC, because they rather pay $1000 more so they can fit in with faggots around them.

i guess everyone in here seems to love one and hate the other, but personally i don't care what os i'm in. i like my macbook better than my windows laptop, but thats because of the size and convenience of having both windows and os x for testing and troubleshooting purposes. i have windows on both my work and home desktop. :dunno: to me an os is no different than any other piece of software, i'll use what i feel works best in a given situation.
