I'm a level behind you. My Macbook is 2 years old and really getting sluggish.

I need to be portable, so I'm going for the Macbook Pro, 13 inch, 2.53 GHz. Right now, I'm just waiting for payday...

Your order sounds sweet. Would love to see some pix, after you've set up. :)

I have a shitty macbook. Whatever, it's fine for what it does right now.

However, I just rocked my wallet by purchasing a pretty beastly desktop.

I'm using an old amd athlon fx x2 3800+ for my desktop. 2gb ram. This POS is getting slow and I can't wait to get funds to upgrade it.

My laptop, which currently I'm using infrequently is a 2006 macbook pro. core 1 duo 1.8ghz 2gb ram. Still runs great. Use it only for logic/traktor

Im sick of using my 15" MBP. I'm getting too old to be hunched over that POS trying to code... I'm finding myself in my home office more and more on my desktop. :hsd:

The new W series lenovo is looking sexier by the day. Anyone used one? How is the slide out 10.6" LCD.. novelty or perfect for developers?
