I'm thinking of doing an orbital on my left ear a little above since I have my ear pierced. I want to do it myself but I'm not too sure on how to go about it. I'm thinking 12. If I take the ring, find the center of it and hold it onto my ear, take a thin marker and make a line from the ring edges onto my ear then just find where I want to have it positioned then pierce, that should work right? How do the pros do orbitals?

I really want one through my cartilege up higher on my ear, but I'm trying to save money up for a trip to Europe for school in a year and for better car.

How much do you think the average price would be for getting it done?
I'm guessing piercing your own cartilege is harder than hell, right?

yeah probably. mine only cost me $35 for both ears. but i have the hook up on piercings. now i dont even pay for them. i just give my guy some money for him to keep and he does them. normally though, its $35 for one.

Wow. Thats alot cheaper than I thought. I've only been to piercing shops in malls here and they're a rip off. 75+ for an industrial, 45+ for eyebrow(bar) and 40 for a ring.
I'll have to try to find a piercing shop and see what they want.
