orange peel in paint (help)

    the compressor died at the end and you can see orange peel in my paint job....... any suggestions to get rid of it(orange peel/ripples)?!?!?!

    You are going to need to wet sand the paint, starting at 1000 grit to 1500 then 2000, then buff with a compound and wool pad, then a polish with a foam cutting pad, followed by a swirl remover and a foam waffle pad, then a light hand polish. Expect to spend about an hour per fender/door, etc.

    If you have any doubts about your ability to do this correctly, send your car to a body shop.
