    i have a Powerbook G4 Ti @ 1.0GHZ, 512mb RAM currently running 10.2.8

lately its been running kinda slow and tasks take a bit long to open programs and other stuff. any thing i can do to speed up my computer?

before you say "get 10.3", i was going to, but with news of 10.4 coming out, i figure im gonna wait for that. good idea?

Yeah just wait for 10.4. It can't be all that far away. Once you get it, just do a full format of the hard drive and a clean install of OSX, and your system should be a good deal snappier. If you want, you can also stick another 512mb RAM in there.
