    Hey all-

I've got a pretty decent workstation here at work. I haven't really done anything to tweak it, but need to get a few problems under control. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Specs:
    AMD Athalon 64x2 4200+ (AM2) (Average 85-100 deg F each core)
    Gigabyte GA-555SLI-S4
    4 x 1gb PC2-6400 Dual Channel Corsair at 5-5-5-18
    250 GB SATAII HD
    512MB Nvidia 7600GS Video Card
Dual DVI out to dual 19" Flatpanels

I do a LOT of graphic editing and pre-press with this box, and when rendering large photoshop files. Frequently, I notice my PF usage is up to 3-4gb with Photoshop using over 1gb of ram alone- obviously the machine CRAWLS while this is happening.

Any thoughts about what I can do to speed it up? I'm reluctant to overclock as I'm inexperienced with it, not interested in watercooling and using the AMD heatsink + fan.

Thanks in advance for any advise!
