So I just got the Bushnell Holo Sight. I just played with the thing and have a question. Lets say I set the sight on a table and through the sights focus on something that is 15 ft away. If I moved my head from side to side without moving the sight, is the crosshair or dot suppose to move side to side also, on and off what I was focusing at?

    THanks :hs:

it's supposed to always be on-target, regardless of what angle you look through.

Why'd you get the Bushnell over the eotech?

Most of the sights of the type will actually have a noticeable "wander" at
close range, so within 20' or so, you may notice it doesn't seem to work
    as it should

I was hoping this was the case. I guess I will test it out when I can take it outside tomorrow.

Because of the $100+ difference. I dont really need the extra ruggedness of the EOTech. :hs:

First time I looked through a legit Aimpoint and I was thinking "wtf this thing
sucks" until I quit looking at the shelf 5' from me and got a bit of distance.

I've been tinkering with the Aimpoint clone I got in the mail today....seems to
work about the same as the original.

Where'd you get it from and how much? I need a another cheap red dot and I've heard pretty good things about those Aimpoint clones.

the only thing I would like to have is a quicker way to take it off, but for the
money it's hard to complain. I mainly got it to see if I like shooting with this
type of sight, if I do maybe I'll buy a real aimpoint and uberleet larue mount
    or something. :dunno:

I'll probably take this to the range tomorrow and see how it does.

edit....comes from Canada....takes for freaking ever.

I was looking at some from China on Ebay and they were just about as much with shipping. The Cavalier mount is a little too high for me but it looks like they sell the short mount too.

    Thanks for the info

I'll let you know if I can make it shoot straight.

It looks like the mount cowitnesses nicely with the front sight and my ARMS
flip up rear.....if that helps you any.

I'll be putting it on an AK but I'll probably build an AR next year sometime and then it will go onto that.

Put about 100rds through the AR today with the Fakepoint on it. Works ok
so far. Shoots an acceptable group considering it's not a magnified optic.
