I was trying to find something decent for around $450 tops wont get a leupold for that. I was planning on waiting and doing my mod's little by little over time so I can spend more $$ on stuff but now that I got the rifle im getting impatient :o

+1 on that last statement. It gets tough to sit on your hands after just buying a new toy. You want to do stuff to it, pimp it out. I know exactly how you feel. Same thing goes for any car, motorcycle... anything really. You immediately start looking into "what you can do to it."
    Good luck mang.

When Trashco manufactured them people with large caliber rifles were blowing the lenses out. Apparently someone else is manufacturing them now but I forget who.

did you consider the VX-1s? the 4-12x40 is what I have on my savage and I love it.

the Super Sniper is a better scope than a VX-1, just because it's a Leupold doesn't make it jesus.

Alright thanks guys, I guess I'm going to try to hold off for a little while on the glass, so I can spend some more money on it.

:dunno: I shopped around looking at optics upto $575ish and the SS actually seems like the best bang for the buck upto that price. I was looking at the Nikon Ti series too they sounded nice but in the pic's they looked kinda cheap looking :dunno: My scope mount should come by this friday I'll probably change my mind again once I have the mount in my hands :mamoru:

I like my bushnell 3200 in comparison. Both have good reps, the SS get's you a step up the cool ladder though.
