I have had this mouse for over 2 years and it has been awesome all the time. Today I come onto my computer and if i leave my mouse sitting in one spot for too long the laser turns off and i have to click one of the buttons to get it to turn back on.
Anyone know what is causing this?

    Thanks.

Is it usb? Of course it is.
Is it plugged into a usb port on the back of your pc or a usb hub? If it's in a hub make sure the hub has it's own AC power. If it's in hte back of your pc then try a different usb port.

If all that fails try a usb to ps2 adapter (if you have one) to see if the problem is related to the mouse or the usb drivers in windows.

Can you try a different mouse?
    Hope some of that helps.
