Im looking for a 9mm carbine but don't want to do an AR w/9mm upper. Anyone own or shot one of these Beretta's?

I've got one. Love it. Lot of fun, good accuracy, and of course, shoots 9mm so it's dirt cheap to shoot.

Haven't had any problems with it since I got it (about a year ago)

I looked at the sub2000 too but it looks like such a cheap pos. Maybe I should look at them again as a local store has them for $250.

The Beretta looks so sexy. To me half of the reason for wanting a gun is the way it looks.

I want 9mm because it's cheap as hell to shoot. I have enough rifles in rifle calibers

Those rifles are cheap for a reason. Most of the time with guns you get what you pay for

If you haven't shot the hi-point carbine, you should definately check it out. They're ugly, but they are very reliable little weapons.

Whoa Whoa Whoa...you're saying the storm is ugly:squint:, but you think that 9mm upper looks good? If the magazine didn't look so out of place, maybe...but the mag on it makes it look :greddy:

:hsugh: I think it looks pretty good, if you dont like the big mags you can always get the 20 round ones but 32 > 20

Which 9mm upper is that and what type of mags are those? Also, what adaptor thingy do you have for the mag well?

Meh 9mm is about the same price I think I paid $7 a box for wolf 9mm, 223 is like $3 a box 2 1/2 boxes to get 50 rounds, same price.

Its an Oly upper, I went with that because it uses sten mags which are dirt cheap as in $5 each, compared to the $30+ modified uzi mags and what not. As for the mag well adaptor :dunno: bought the whole upper setup with tacpoint and 5 mags off someone on ARFCom never asked what kind of adaptor it is, works great though
