  1. I lifted monday and tuesday so I figured I'd take today off from lifting and decided to do some cardio by swimming. By god, it's bad ass, you get immensely tired and out of breath but in a different way. It felt good, minus the fact my eyes are killing me. What's everyones opinion on swimming tied in with body building?

I thought of Rocky III as I was swimming. :mamoru:

Swimming is an awesome cardio exercise. Plus the fact that it's low(non)-impact makes it better if you lifted hard the previous day or will be lifting hard the next.

I love swimming. My friend is a lifeguard. I asked her to help me with my front crawl and im in good form now. Learning the strokes makes a huge difference.

goggles make it interesting, too. Seeing underwater is sweet. Burning eyes is not.

i'd say swimming is an excellent form of cardio. A good balance to burn fat, calaries and mainitaining muscle mass. I believe Arnold used to do a lot of swimming as his form of cardio.

I definately need to find a place to swim I'd rather do that than run any day.
