    Revolver style rifle
smooth bore barrel 410 shells only
rifled bore .45 Colt or 410 shells

anywhere to find the ballistics on a .45 Colt with and 18 inch (guessing) barrel?

It's probably just a novelty gun, but kinda cool in an odd sort of way.

Seems pretty cool and all, but pretty pointless for anything other than a novelty. Can't use the .410 in a rifled barrel that long, can't really use the .45 in a smoothbore, and .410 is pretty shitty already in a smoothbore. Though if I was looking specifically for a .45LC rifle, I've always wanted a revolver rifle,so maybe.

The smoothbore is 410 only. The rifled barrel is the only one that you can use either round.

I'd just like to see the ballistics of the LC to see how much it compares to a 30-30 (I'm sure less, but how much less). I can't access any of the websites with ballistics charts at work

So much less to the point of uselessness. I remember researching .410 loadings when that piece of shit first came out. I think the slug weight was averaging around 95 grains. I have .380 bullets heavier than that. .410 is not a selling point for anyone but a complete dolt. The ability to work up some .45LC loadings in a carbine would be interesting. Also, with that long ass cylinder, I wonder if .45-70 would fit. THAT would be fucking cool.
