Anyone own a glock in this caliber? I'll probably end up getting this (or a gun in this range) over a 1911.

I just picked up a used G21 a couple weeks back been to the range with it twice, I'm pretty pleased with it, dont have alot of experience with .45's though, shot the sig22x? and a couple 1911's, overall I'm pretty happy with it, wouldn't mind a USP though

Anything i should get with it? A few mags, night sights, hogue grip?
I will be carrying this gun.

Hows the recoil on a .45? Ive shot numerous .40 caliber pistols (USPs, P99) and it wasnt to bad, a little snappy, but not bad.

On topglock.com they sell a recoil kit (Some sort of spring), i know its not necessary but if i had some extra money left over should i invest in one?

the .45 recoil is noticibly less than a .40. i love shooting a .45, but don't like shooting the .40

Accuracy of glocks decent? Ive held one with hogue grips, felt great. Never shot one.

I'm satisfied with the accuracy out of my G21

I've got a G21, it's a great gun. Never had any problems with it and the felt recoil is actually pretty low due to the thick grip.

If the glock fits your hand, thats good, and it will most likely out shoot you.

Glocks don't feel good in my hand and I can't hit jack with them, but I can get 4-5" groups at 30 yards with my 1911 because it feels very natural to me.

Agreed. Grip angle is horrendous and it seems like the slide is way too long
