No. Do not rely on this to defend your life. Horribly unreliable firearms. Absolute pieces of shit, and only good for selling to gang-members. And only then so you can ensure that no one actually gets shot.

guy at the store told me they will jam on hollow points, good for blasting cheap target ammo,it is to have fun at the range without having to put alot through your primary weapon thats about it

Being one of the few who have shot these personally and witness to more than a few being used on the ranges, I have seen them eat everything they are fed including P+ ammo. They are bulky, but I haven't seen one fail yet. Lifetime warrenty too. Friend who is an ex police chief carries one of the .45's as his CCW weapon now. They are no SIG or XD but if it's one of the new designs (which that one is) I wouldn't be worried about carrying one.

You are in a lucky position though.

Ask your friend if you can take it out and run a couple hundred rounds through it before you buy and and see for yourself whether it will work for you or not.

Hrm... thanks a lot guys, i may pick it up just because it is cheap enough, if i'm not happy i will go another route. He says he's only had 1 FTE the whole time he's owned it, kinda worries me, lol, but said it never does with good (heavier) ammo.

It will be open as i dont have a CCW (i'm 19).

I'm gonna take it out this weekend and throw some rounds thru it :)

$100 is too much, if you ask me. I don't think I'd pay more than $70.00 if I was even interested.

I had one in .380 and it worked good except with the aluminum cased Blazer where it would jam every round.

I'd get it to play with.

I wouldn't carry it though. Too bulky.

So i bought it, took it out, ran 1 fucking mag thru it (horrible aim by the way) dropped the mag in the truck and a fucking piece of metal fell out of it, like a bent ass paperclip.

I'm taking it back to my friend tonight to hopefully get my money back.

If you open carry that then everyone who sees it will laugh at you. Then they will think you're a gang banger and will call the police lol.
