I got the check from Yellow Freight on Wed. last week, so I ran down to the gun shop with my dad and picked up the TC Pro Hunter .22-250. He got a Beretta 3901 semi-auto shotgun.

Got home with it and realized there was no way I could wait til Christmas for a scope. Luckily Bass Pro was open on T-Day a few miles from the family. Went with a Leupold Rifleman 4-12x40.

Finally got to shoot it on Saturday, and after moving from 25 to 100 to 200 sighting it in we decided to have some fun. Dad with his .270, bro-n-law with his 30-06 and me on .22-250. We set up a pumpkin at 300. Took turns with that, and decided that after you hit the pumkin it qualified you for the 400yd drum....with a 25 mph crosswind. Took me three shots to get used to the crazy-flat trajectory, but I won the beer. First shot barely over, second shot 9 inches low, third shot.......

I'm amazed with this gun. Just ordered everything I need to do a trigger job to get it where I want it for now. Can't wait to try some shots further out.
BTW, due to the rain and cold, all shots were taken from just inside the banquet room of our pro-shop down the #3 fairway :naughty:

Wish I could put a decent safe in my house.

    Was surprizingly easy.

Weighs in right at 700lbs. Me and my future father-n-law did it Saturday morning. He brought a dolly made out of two pieces of 3/4" plywood with four solid casters. We got someone to hold the dolly while we walked the safe onto it, then just rolled it to the front door, walked it off the dolly into the house. Then wrapped a roap around the bottom hald and pulled/pushed it across the carpet to the back room.
