MMA Operation: 9%

    So I was supposed to have a fight in September last year and there was no one my weight to fight, so I kind of felt like I over trained and burnt out myself for nothing. Just after that I injured my IT Band really bad, causing a huge amount of pain in my left hip and knee.

    I decided to take it as an opportunity to stop working out and start eating anything in site.

    Fast forward 4 - 5 months, My hip and knee are still in a lot of pain, but I am just going to ease back into the gym and see if i can work around it.


    this morning I weighed in at 163 pounds and 15% body fat.

    Goal: 155 pounds and 9% body fat. I was at 148pounds and 10%, so this shouldn't be too unrealistic.

    I can't tonight. Tonight is my last night of class.
    Typically wednesday and starting next week, tuesday are the best nights for me.

    Got in a good workout this morning though before work. :h5:

    yeah, when i was at 10% in september it was like hitting a wall. Progress just stopped in its tracks.

    Loco how are the fits on the TU hats? Do they run big or small. I have 2 flex fit hats the same size. 1 fits perfect and the other one is too small and gives me headaches. Lamest question ever, but whatever :dunno:

    sub 10% is tough, good luck. as long as your diet is really good and you hit the gym you can do it.

    and the other option is my buddy's place in clairemont. tv is big enough, good sound system, only downsides is that he has two big ass dogs and not a ton of seating, so sometimes we have to pull out the upperdeck seating.

    we'll figure something out.

    you guys are welcome to come to Tampa, I just bought a 50in plasma and entire new sound system. Plenty of seating too... all you need is a plane ticket out here.

    Nice, I think this is a good goal. I was 15% bf at 168 lbs. Not exactly sure what I'm at now but its probably just under 10%

    yeah, my only worry is that I don't want to let my weight drop too low too fast, so I am going to try and throw in more bodyweight excercises and hopefully avoid being 148 again :o

    I just bought a scale from Target that has uses a small electrical current to measure. It is surprisingly pretty damn accurate and consistent. when i would be right in between 2 percentage points and I worked out really hard the day before i would be under, if i didnt work out and ate bad it would be over.

    think it's guaranteed accurate withint 1%+/-

    Thats cool. I've thought about getting one of those. Wasnt sure if you used that method or actual calipers. Glad to hear they're pretty accurate.
