Looking for the best free open source network monitoring software. Just wondering what some of you guys are running for your servers. Thanks!

Checked it out, although wasn't too impressed. Was hoping for something else. Tried out Nagios, Zabbix, and Open NMS. Want something that will have a lot of good information as well as a good interface. Tried out Nagios with the Centreon interface and looked pretty good, but still working on getting it all to work.

nagios is probably your best bet.

I run http://bb4.com/ on all of the stuff I look after. At work we run a mix of BB Nagios on HP Openview.

Trying to find out more about BB but can't find any pricing. I clicked on the New Pricing and Purchase pages and can't seem to find anything about how much it costs. Do you mind letting me know?

Might need to try it out.
We were playing with Nagios and we didn't like the interface, although we tried the Centreon interface on it and liked it a lot, although it's been a pain in the ass to set up so far.

Nagios is where it's at. I monitor around 400 hosts and around 1200 service checks with it at work. I use cacti for any graphing I need. Also Nagios just forked and there is a new project called icinga which looks promising. If you have any questions about Nagios shoot me a PM...been working with it for over 3 years now.
