I did indeed. I had some Nikon jealosy working at my kids wedding when the shooter did some great evening shots in very low light.

There is no shame in doing the right thing. I think Confusious ( or was it Gengis Kahn) who said that. :fawk:

Two but most likely one usable stop. I've pushed my 5D to 1600 but that's as far as I'll go with it. I don't know if I'll go past 3200 with the mark 2. I'll shoot some tests to see.

All I saw was the back of his camera. He's not finished processing all the pics yet.

You will love it. 6400 is useful. You will never ever go back to the old 5D...mark my words.

I am sure you will put the video feature to good use. I hope you also got the grip for it and extra battery.

And make sure to go through the settings and turn off the dynamic LCD brightness.

I got an extra battery but no grip.....yet. I have a grip on my 5D. I'll probably play with the video feature a bit but to be honest, I doubt I'll ever seriously use it.

aww fuck it. I just ordered the grip for it. I love the grip on my 5D and I'm sure I'll want one on the new camera.
