So i'm going to the range tomorrow to shoot my new (to me) 229 DAK for the first time but i've only got 1 damn mag. :hsd:

Anyone know where I can buy some USED mags for a 229? Gunbroker doesn't have shit nor does sigforum or arfcom classifieds and CDNN is sold out :wtc:.

Call sig and tell them your dilemma. They will probably let you buy them factory direct...although you'll have to pay a little more for em.

    Also, check e-bay

Where are their website do you see those? All I found on their SIG Magazines page was "Factory Sig P229 .40/357 12 Round Magazine - USED- LEO Marked SOLD-OUT" and they're sold out?

My little p99 magazine secret would be buy the s&w 99 mags, 16 rounds, made by mecgar, and cheaper at about $30 each. You got a good buy but just something to keep in mind if you need some for the future!

 they feed reliably and all? What do they go for price wise anyway? The Walther ones all seem to go for $35ish for the 15 rounders, so I still paid average price on these plus they hold an extra round I'll have to try out the s&w ones though.

Yup mine are 100% so far. Natchez sells them for $28 each I think and I usually wind up coming closer to $40 for walther mags. The only difference I notice is that the walther have a slightly glossier blueing on them and the reinforcing ridges going down the side. The S&W's lack that ridge. So do my 226 mags though so I'm not too worried. Its not a big difference, but if you're buying 10 mags or something it can add up.

I just called CDNN, they do have them in stock but they're $23 and with the $10 shipping I might as well just buy new ones from somewhere else for practically the same price.
