What are some good places to get prints done online.
    Or even in Portland Oregon.

I am looking to get some poster size (24x36) prints done.
any help would be great :)

I have gallery2 installed and found a digibug.com option. I had no idea what it was and installed it and found it to be another print service. What was interesting was they let you make your own price lists. I went with the wholesale a the moment since I'm not that good with taking photos.

A couple weeks ago, I ordered 2 30"x40". For one 30"x40", they charge $14 wholesale. I received them and the quality was pretty darn good, I thought (my coworkers agreed). I have both framed and hanging up in my home office.

They had the photos printed the following day and in the mail that evening. For the prints, they used Kodak Advanced photo paper (or something like that - if you need the specifics, let me know).

Note: the paper is REALLY sensitive. I suck at framing and scratched the paper with the glass and left a mark. I re-ordered the print, but this time DHL must of sat on the tube and bent it. The new picture had a couple kinks in it but I framed it anyways and you can hardly tell (this was a shipping problem - I probably could have gotten it replaced, but decided not to waste my time). If you are going to glass frame it yourself and need a couple pointers I learned, let me know.

The printing service digibug.com used was photomama.com. I checked their site for giggles thinking it might be cheaper to skip the middle man and it wasn't. In fast, the largest size I found available was 24"x36" (maybe you have to log in to get other sizes.)

Let me know if you'd like to see a picture of the posters in my office...
